Good quality and finish-size of slightly

Good quality and finish but rings were slightly too small.

Chrome grill rings for 2016 C7.5 A6

Delivered undamaged, removed the old rings with pry tool. Compared the two, two tabs, upper left and upper right were not in the correct place as compared to factory. Since there are a lot of tabs anyway, I snapped those two off. With that done, the new emblem installed precisely into position and looks great. With all the other tabs in place it's not going anywhere so no worries. Overall, quaility is just like OE. Perhaps the next production run will get those two tabs located in their proper position, but again it's not an issue as it is plenty secure without them.

Front Grille Rings

Ordered the correct spec for year/model, but there were two slotted pegs (not tabs) which would have prevented an install. They were in a spot which wouldn't show, so I sawed/sanded them away. Perfect snap-in fit once those were removed. Perhaps they were left over from the manufacturing process, but slightly annoying ("No modifications required."). 3-stars overall; 5 for the product, 1 for the oddity of having a perfectly sized set of rings, with perfectly alinging clips, and two very weird pegs.

We appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that the two slotted pegs are actually center tabs that are necessary for certain style grilles, but not all styles. If your grille does not require them, they can be easily trimmed off. We hope the end result was worth the slight correction.

Optic black enhancement

Bought a district green AUDI SQ5 Sportback with optic black package. Yet, chrome emblems and mixed metal hubs took away from the look. So, powdercoated the wheels in glossy black and replaced the emblems in black…now , she’s golden….

Broke during install

Unfortunately a few of the tabs on the emblem broke when attempting to install onto the plastic grill. The slots seemed to line up but when attempting to snap into place some tabs broke.
